Class Description: Have you tried hand-spindling, but not had much success? Would you like some guided study time to get to know your spindle better? We'll look at a few different spindle types and configurations and work on techniques to make your spindling more fun and more productive
Materials provided by instructor: Basic roving provided.
Materials students need to bring to class: Please bring a spindle, recommended no bigger than 1.5 oz. in weight.
Cost for Materials to be paid by students: No charge
Meet Jan: Jan Geyer hails from Spokane WA. A wheel spinner for over 15 years, she recently rediscovered the joy and portability of the humble spindle.

Name of Class: Wire Crochet with Beads
Class time: length 2 hours (Saturday 3:45-5:45)
Minimum Class size: 1
Maximum Class size: 10
Class Description: Crochet a bracelet or small basket. If you took the class last year, I will have several new projects also available. Basic crochet knowledge helpful but not necessary.
Materials provided by instructor: Materials for several small projects. Marie will have extra crochet hooks available if you do not have your own.
Materials students need to bring to class: If you have them, steel crochet hooks 00 through 4 or the smaller letter sizes D and E.
Cost for Materials to be paid by students: $ 5
Meet Marie: Marie still lives on her ranch in Lincoln County, Washington with her cows, sheep, cats, dogs, and other assorted creatures. She started crocheting at the age of 5, and her addiction to “nice” wool yarns led to a spinning wheel and making her own yarn by the time she was 35. Now, nearing her 70th birthday, she still keeps looking at the way things work and asking “why?”
